Meet Author Melody Eddins -- Melody is a sixty-two year old wife, a mother of two, and a grandmother of five beautiful grandchildren. She worked as a supervisor in Accounts Receivable for South Piedmont Community College in North Carolina. She was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2011, and was able to work through September of 2014. She took early retirement because of the symptoms of her disease. Melody began using the computer at home to write words, and putting sentences together for verbal therapy and writing skills. Somehow, words and rhyming words began to flow. Her faith, and the love of her family, inspired her to tell her life's story through the poems she writes. She decided early on that if her book made any profit, it will go to the Michael J. Fox foundation, and other Parkinson's foundations.
My, what a story to tell! She's currently working on her second book entitled, "Memories; Live and Learn". We can't wait to see how her imagination comes to life in this book!
